With restrictions still in place due to COVID-19, families and residents are missing being able to see each other. We understand that the lack of family contact can create anxiety for the resident and cause feelings of stress for worried families and friends. Knowing this, the staff at Grace Pointe have created many ways for families and residents to stay in touch.

Mailbox

Grace Pointe has a designated mailbox located at the East entrance for cards and mail to be dropped off at any time. The staff delivers throughout the week. Families can also deliver larger personal items to the Reception staff located at the East entrance.

Care Mail

Grace Pointe Care Mail allows you to submit videos and drawings, write well wishes, provide positive notes, heartfelt hellos and more through our website. Our caring staff delivers these messages to residents throughout the week! Send a message to a resident here!

Video Calls

Grace Pointe staff has been busy connecting families and residents through virtual visits. Our staff has been utilizing Facetime, Zoom and DUO so families can video call with their loved ones often. If your resident needs help and can’t do a video call on their own contact us to schedule a date and time.

Outside Visits

Grace Pointe had a successful outside family visits program where you could come to visit your loved ones outside on our patio! We have a comfortable and spacious outdoor seating area designated for families and residents to visit together. We hope to resume this program when appropriate and weather permitting.

Window Visits

For those who live on the ground floor family can stop by anytime and see them through their room window. We encourage the use of a speakerphone for better communication. If your family member lives on the second floor the staff can assist with a scheduled window visit at our designated area. Family members are welcome to call our staff (970-304-1919) to set up a time to visit with their loved one.

Compassion Visits

Even in a pandemic, we understand there are times that family needs to be present such as end of life care. After review by a committee if a family meets the State guidelines they may be approved for scheduled Compassion visitation.

At Grace Pointe Senior Care Community, we encourage the family members of our residents to talk to their loved ones often by using one of these ways. Please contact us if you have any questions. It is our priority to keep you and your loved ones in touch!
