Many of our residents call Grace Pointe their home year-round. We understand that it can be difficult for some of our residents to be away from their families during the holidays. We encourage family members and kind community members to visit Grace Pointe to make this time of the year feel less lonely to our residents. Here are some things you can do when visiting Grace Pointe during the holidays.

Go For A Walk

Grace Pointe has beautifully landscaped and maintained grounds. Even in the fall and winter months, the weather is nice enough to take a quick walk. Get some fresh air and take a walk in the beautiful neighborhood!

Enjoy a Meal

Our meals are chef-prepared for residents, and while you visit your loved ones, you can enjoy a meal with them. Nothing makes our residents happier than sharing stories over a nice dinner with their family members.

Adopt an Elder

Maybe you don’t have a family member living at Grace Pointe, but you still want to bring some joy during the holidays. Visit and adopt an elder! Many seniors don’t have loved ones nearby. Taking some time to stop in and share a coffee or a holiday treat is also a great idea. Bring some holiday cheer to someone in need, just by being there.

Write Letters or Holiday Cards

Another great way to spend time with a Grace Pointe resident during the holidays is to spend some time helping them write letters and holiday cards to their loved ones. Our residents will appreciate the help and company!
